Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Freebie Stack collects (very little), how it is used, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
Freebie Stack is designed to be privacy-friendly:
- No personal accounts. You don't register or log in, so we hold no account data.
- No cookies. We do not use cookies to track you.
- No analytics tracking. We do not use Google Analytics or similar user-tracking services.
2. Data Stored on Your Device (localStorage)
Freebie Stack stores the following data locally in your browser only:
- Your selected country (e.g. "UK")
- Which freebie sources you have toggled on or off
- Offers you have saved or hidden, including any notes you've added
- Any custom RSS feeds you have added
- A temporary cache of fetched RSS feed items (cleared automatically after 5 minutes)
This data never leaves your device. We cannot access it, see it, or transmit it anywhere. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
3. The RSS Proxy
To display RSS feeds from third-party sites, your browser makes requests to our
Cloudflare Pages proxy endpoint (/api/proxy). This proxy fetches the
external RSS feed on your behalf and returns it to your browser. The proxy:
- Does not log which feeds you request on a per-user basis
- Caches feed XML at the Cloudflare edge for up to 5 minutes (shared across all users)
- Only proxies publicly accessible RSS feeds
Cloudflare may collect standard server-side access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) as part of its infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
4. Third-Party Sites
Clicking "Claim" on any offer takes you to the originating third-party website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.
5. Children's Privacy
Freebie Stack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
